Left high and dry

There must have been a clearance sale going on at the Warehouse for Giants when the local council went shopping for this bus stop in Subang Jaya.

The reasoning must have gone along the following lines: “It’s cheap and when it floods, commuters won’t get their feet wet. We’ll be adding value to the set-up!”

Which is all fine and well, it’s just too bad that the elderly, handicapped and small children can’t use it.

But then again, if constant flooding is considered a valid reason for such a high bench — shouldn’t some concern be cast upon the fact that constant flooding occurs in the first place?
