Tips elak Histeria: Haron Din saran amal Muawizat

Beware Of Cyber Space Fraud
"I am in a hurry when writing you this message. Yesterday, I came to visit a new researchers' complex in London, Imperial College England. Well we actually got robbed in the hotel I booked and they made away with my wallet (which include cash and credit cards).
"Please. I want you to help me with money so please can you send me 1,500 pounds ... You can have it sent through Western Union Money Transfer.... please let me hear from you so I can give you my full name and the address where you can send the money to..."
A Malaysian consumer activist supposedly sent this 'desperate' e-mail.
However, that was not the first of such e-mail received by this writer.
There was a similar e-mail some time back, purportedly from an environment activist who claimed to be robbed in one African country and was in dire need of urgent financial help.
Upon checking, the writer eventually found out that both senders of the e-mails were safe and sound in Malaysia.
Therefore both e-mails turned out to be nothing but frauds!
DEFINITELY A SCAM
"I was stunned when I got a phone call from a friend saying he had received an e-mail from me that claimed I was robbed and stranded in London. Of course there was no truth behind that e-mail. It was definitely a scam.
"But what puzzled me was how those unscrupulous people can breach into my e-mail (box). How did they get my password?" consumer activist Ismail Abdul Aziz told Bernama recently.
Obviously disturbed with the phoney e-mail, Ismail voiced out his concerns that such cyber scam would cause alarm to his relatives and friends.
Ismail who is also the honorary secretary of a non-governmental organisation, Persatuan Pengguna dan Sosial Daerah Petaling, said forgetting to sign-off could be among the several possibilities on how his e-mail boxes was breached into.
"Probably I forgot to sign off when I sent out an e-mail. Someone may have a way to hack into my e-mail and probably the culprit was outside the country."
Ismail had since changed his password and lodged a report with the National Consumer Complaints Centre (NCCC) who has forwarded the complaint to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (SKMM).
MORE SOPHISTICATED
Without doubt, the Internet has become something that we could not do without these days.
Many do not only use the Internet for information retrieving but also to conduct shopping and business transactions, including online banking.
"The extensive use of Internet and increasing number of users has paved the way for unscrupulous people to engage in cyber frauds."
That is the words of Mohd Yusof Abdul Rahman, the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associatons (Fomca) chief executive.
"There were numerous scams brought to our attention. They include winning lotteries and lucky draws, scams to transfer inheritance or frozen assets, e-mails to coax purchase of computer software, food products of inferior quality and the list goes on," he told Bernama.
Mohd Yusof called for the public to be on guard at all times as the fraudsters have grown bolder and sophisticated in dishing out their cyber crimes.
"Please do not fall into their trap. Never reply to such e-mails for the sake of satisfying your curiosity.
"Once you are conned and had parted with your money, it would not be easy to prosecute these fraudsters especially if they operate from overseas," said Mohd Yusof.
'PHISHING'
In information communication technology (ICT) the word 'phishing' is used in relation to cyber frauds and scams.
According to the free encyclopedia, Wikipedia, 'phishing' means criminally fraudulent process of attempting to acquire sensitive information such as usernames, passwords and credit card details by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication.
It said communications purporting to be from popular social web sites like You Tube and Facebook, auction sites (e-Bay), online banks or IT Administrators such as Yahoo are commonly used to lure the unsuspecting.
The encyclopedia went on to say that phishing is typically carried out by e-mail or instant messaging and it often direct users to enter details at a fake website whose look and feel are almost identical to the legitimate one.
The first recorded mention of the term 'phishing' was reported in 1996.
SCAM AN OFFENCE
On the home ground, the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission had received complaints on phishing since 2004. In 2008 alone, it received 86 complaints on phishing.
According to the Commission, e-mail based scams that contained elements of cheating such as collecting money from the public is an offence under Section 420 of the Penal Code.
The sentence carries a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment one year (1) to ten years (10) together with mandatory whipping, and the courts have the discretion to further impose a fine.
The Commission said investigation on the e-mail based scams falls under the purview of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and not under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 or SKMM.
However, the Commission said it could take immediate action to block access to phishing sites under Section 263 of the Communications and Multimedia Act.
Anyone who is not sure over the authenticity of an Internet banking site can refer it to the Commission.
In addition, it said the Commission and Internet Service Providers (ISPs) do cooperate with PDRM in any investigation relating to cases of e-mail based scams.
BE CAUTIOUS
"The most important thing the consumers have to remember is not to disclose any personal information and to exercise extra caution when receiving e-mails that purportedly said that the recipients have won lottery or competition, received money from a lucky draw or that requesting donations.
"One should treat e-mails from unknown person with caution. Besides scams, e-mails may also contain viruses and other 'malware' (malicious software)," the Commission told Bernama.
It said consumers could also install anti-phishing filters that alert them to reported phishing sites.
It added anyone who received suspicious e-mail believed to be a scam is advised to report the matter to the police or alternatively, consumers can lodge a complaint or refer suspected Internet sites to the Commission's Consumer Complaints Bureau online at http://aduan.skmm.gov.my or telephone 1-800-888-030.
Complaints can also be lodged via fax to 03-8688 1880. Complainants can also write to the Consumer Complaints Bureau, Communication and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission, Off Persiaran Multimedia, 63000 Cyberjaya, Selangor.
The Commission also advised Internet users to observe the following:-
* Ensure that no one has access to your computer or online activities.
* Always log out of your e-mail or any online transaction immediately after completion and before visiting other web sites.
* Do not send any information about your personal or banking information such as account numbers, bank balances, PIN (personal identification number) via e-mail.
Cleanse the body
MYoga presents Detox Yoga, a class designed to rid the body of toxins through three sections – the breathing practice, sun salutations and a series of kriya asana (or cleansing postures). The breathing practice is emphasised through five techniques such as kapalabhati (frontal brain cleaning breathing) and nadishodhana (balancing breathing) because breathing releases toxins in the body therefore, improving the body condition. Another key element is the sun salutation where breathing and moving asanas are combined in a way that each of the seven body layers are enriched. After two sessions of breathing exercises with a sun salutation in between, a sequence of asana targeting the upper body followed by the lower body will be practiced. There will also be a special focus on the upper body since many people sit all day resulting in bad posture which is bad for the body condition. After a month of practice for at least three times a week, expect to see significant results. For more information on Detox Yoga, call 603-2289 8588 or visit http://www.mYogaOnline.com.

Beginner's Guide To: Managing your money abroad
What's the cheapest way to manage my money when I travel?
Using debit and credit cards is generally the best way to deal with money when you're abroad these days – but it's important to follow certain rules to avoid getting landed with a string of hefty charges.
If you want to pay for goods and services by card, it's usually best to use a credit card – as you shouldn't incur any charges for these transactions. However, check with your credit card provider before you leave, as some do charge for using your card overseas. It's also worth simply letting your card provider know where you're going – to ensure that its fraud detection department doesn't block your card when it sees a number of transactions in a foreign destination.
If you need to take out cash, use a debit card. Most banks and building societies – with the notable exception of Nationwide – will charge you a small fee for withdrawing cash this way, so keep withdrawals to a minimum. Never withdraw cash using a credit card – the fees and interest rates are very high.
What rate will I get?
The main card networks – Mastercard, Visa and American Express – all use competitive exchange rates for transactions on their network. These are usually much better than anything you'll find in a bank or bureau de change.
Am I safe to use my card while abroad?
You're at risk of card fraud everywhere in the world – including the UK – but as long as you have not been negligent with your cards, your bank should pick up the cost for any fraud on your account. If you notice that you are a victim of fraud, let your bank know as soon as possible. And take a couple of cards with you when you travel, so you're not left high and dry if one gets closed down.
Where can I get the best rate to exchange cash?
If you want to buy foreign currency before you leave, Travelex promises to have the most competitive rates if you order online.

Quick ways to update your hair
If you’ve had the same hairstyle for over two years, it may be time for a make over.
Here are some simple suggestions to consider.
Sex up your hair with curls
If you’ve had pokerstraight hair for the past few years, you may want to consider giving your hair a perm. It is a great way to add body, curls and bounce to your hair, particularly if yours is fine or limp. Before you dismiss perming as a granny move, consider the fact that there is now a dizzying array of perms and curls from which to pick.
The type of curl that is produced from a perm depends on a number of factors.
“The size of the curler is perhaps the most important as this determines the size of the curl,” explains Keith Chin, senior hairstylist at Grace Salon. “Generally, the smaller the curler, the smaller and therefore tighter the curl, whereas medium to large curlers tend to result in a much looser and natural effect.” The strength of the perming lotion used can also make a difference, as can the texture and type of hair on which it is being applied. If you’re worried that you’ll end up with curls that are too small, ask your stylist to show you the type of rod she plans to use. Keep in mind that the tightness of the curls can vary, depending on the size of the rod and length of time the solution stays on your hair. Hair that is in great condition can “take” a perm much better than hair that’s unhealthy (such as dry, brittle, over-processed locks). Also, remember that fine hair curls more easily than coarse hair. Still not convinced? Why not show your stylist a photo of what you have in mind?
Digital vs normal perm
The biggest difference between regular and digital perm is the shape and the texture of the waves produced. “A digital perm utilises rods with a temperature regulator, resulting in curls that are softer and more manageable, said Chin. A normal or a ‘cold’ perm, on the other hand, makes waves prominent when the hair is wet and loose when dry. The downside: Cold perms tend to make hair look stiff. In contrast, a digital perm makes waves look prominent when dry and loose when wet, making it easier to style while your hair is damp. To amp up your curls, try working in a styling product of your choice and leaving it to dry.
If volume is what you’re after and prefer a perm that’s closer to your roots, a digital perm may not be for you as it involves the application of heat, which can burn your scalp. To give fine or limp hair a boost, Chin suggests a root perm at the crown to create a subtle “lift”.
With or without bangs?
“Although bangs can instantly add life to a boring haircut, it is always best to discuss it with your hairdresser before taking the plunge. Bangs can be challenging to deal with during their medium-to-long phases,” said hair stylist and trainer at Eco Hair and Beauty Academy, Samantha Lim. “Your hairdresser should have the expertise to advise you on whether the style you want will work well for you.” Consider the following before cutting:
Your hair texture
While perfect for naturally straight hair, or hair with light waves, bangs can be a nightmare for naturally curly or super wavy locks. If your hair is curly and unruly, remember that your bangs must be cut long enough to allow for curl and wave shrinkage. “If you have slightly wavy hair, try asking for thick, softly layered bangs and wear them to the side,” said Lim. “You may want to consider giving your bangs a perm if nothing else works.”
The condition of your hair
Bangs may not work well for hair that is prone to breakage or has been damaged by chemicals. Likewise, hair that is prone to oiliness may prove to be a problem when worn with bangs. The reason: Hair that is quick to grease up can look dirty and unkempt, and the first places likely to show this will be the roots and bangs.
The shape of your face
• Oval Oval faces can take most styles and cuts well, including bangs.
• Round Long, softly layered bangs that gently hug the cheeks to minimize the “roundness” are best for this face shape.
• Long Blunt, browskimming bangs will help give the impression of a more oval-shaped face.
• Square Side-swept bangs that gently curve or taper to the side will help balance out the sharp lines of this face.
• Heart-shaped Bangs can help minimize a top-heavy heart shaped face or balance out a prominent chin.
The perfect cut
The first step to getting a great hair cut is to track down the right stylist. Once you find someone you are comfortable with, have a chat about what you want out of your hair cut. Browse through books and magazines to identify the types of cuts and styles you like, and discuss their suitability with your stylist. Below are some of the most coveted and frequently requested haircuts:
The gamine cut
The cut is invariably short (above the ears), and is similar to the “pixie” cut. Gamine haircuts are best suited to slim, lean women, with softer facial features. Although low-maintenance, this cut should be considered carefully as it requires the right features and atl Taken from this month’s Shape magazine titude to be carried off successfully.
To style this type of cut, Chin recommends using a hair dryer to blast dry the hair without using a brush. For a natural, tousled look, work in a wax, clay or mud to style. Stay away from gel and hair sprays as these tend to lend a stiff, unnatural finish to short hair.
The bob
More and more women are opting for short bobs, and for more than a handful of great reasons. Not only are they versatile and chic, but these type of cuts require little in the way of styling and maintenance (save for a regular trim). There are many different types of bobs to choose from, but generally, a bob’s length should be determined based on the shape of your face. To make things even more interesting, bobs can be evenly cut or cut at an angle, and given more edge with bangs. To create a versatile bob that’s fussfree at work but funky in the evening, Chin suggests a textured bob with side parting and a “messier” layered style at the back.
Long and layered
This is a great hairstyle for most face shapes because it offers plenty of movement and body. To avoid leaving your hair looking flat and lifeless, try opting for a cut with layers all around your head, suggests Chin. “A long and layered style will create more lift at the roots.” Adding layers offers other bonuses: Subtle curling of different layers for special occasions can create an elegant finish. Layers also provide a great platform for highlighting. This cut is fun to highlight. Read More......
Dry hair solutions
Q - I’ve tried using many different types of conditioners to treat my damaged hair, but it’s still dry and brittle. Is there any way I can undo this damage?
It’s important to first determine the cause of your dry, brittle hair.
Some of the most common causes are: Sun damage, pollution, hair colouring, chemical treatments like straightening, relaxing and perming, and heat-damage from styling tools, such as curling and flat irons. However, chronic dryness can also be a sign of another underlying medical problem. If conditioning treatments don’t improve your hair’s moisture level it may be best to see your doctor.
Typical signs of dry hair include: Brittleness, coarseness, frizz and dullness.
Follow these guidelines to revive your damaged hair:
• Shampoo 2-3 times a week, not daily. Washing your hair too often, especially with a harsh shampoo, will only strip away the elements that keep your locks moist. If your hair is dry, try washing it just two or three times a week using mild shampoo and conditioner, like Origins Knot Free Shampoo and Conditioner (RM43 each).
While shampooing, massage your scalp to stimulate the follicles and loosen dandruff or dirt that may be clogging your pores. When conditioning, be sure to cover all portions of your hair adequately and leave it in for several minutes. This will ensure that every strand is conditioned.
• Seal in the moisture. Microwave a teaspoon of Origins Organic Hair Oil (RM100) for a minute before applying it to your hair. The heat from the oil will open up your hair shafts, allowing it to penetrate and condition your hair further. Alternatively, apply the oil, then put on a plastic shower cap and wait for 15 minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water so the moisture in your hair shafts stay sealed.
• Avoid brushing and using heated styling appliances when your hair is wet. Instead, gently towel dry your hair, then slick on a serum that’s designed to seal in moisture and protect your hair from further breakage.
• Minimise your exposure to the sun and wind, and chlorinated water. You can reduce the damage being done to your hair by wearing a hat while outdoors and using a swimming cap in the pool.
• Load up on Omega-3 fatty acids. These fatty acids help keep your follicles healthy and your hair shiny. To get your fill of these hairloving nutrients, add more salmon, fish oil, walnuts and flax seeds to your meals.
• Trim your hair regularly. Dry or naturally brittle hair is more prone to developing split ends, so if it’s been a while since you’ve had a trim, it may be time to pencil
Magnets can keep crocodiles away
Florida wildlife managers have launched an experiment to see if they can keep crocodiles from returning to residential neighbourhoods by temporarily taping magnets to their heads to disrupt their "homing" ability.
Researchers at Mexico's Crocodile Museum in Chiapas reported in a biology newsletter they had some success with the method, using it to permanently relocate 20 of the reptiles since 2004.
"We said, 'Hey, we might as well give this a try'," Lindsey Hord, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's crocodile response coordinator, said on Tuesday.
Crocodiles are notoriously territorial and when biologists move them from urban areas to new homes in the wild, they often go right back to the place where they were captured, travelling up to 16km a week to get there. Scientists believe they rely in part on the Earth's magnetic fields to navigate, and that taping magnets to both sides of their heads disorients them.
"They're just taped on temporarily," Hord said. "We just put the magnets on when they're captured and since they don't know where we take them, they're lost. The hope would be that they stay where we take them to."
Hord and his co-workers have tried it on two crocodiles since launching the experiment in January, affixing "a common old laboratory magnet" to both sides of the animals' heads. One got run over by a car and died, but the other has yet to return, Hord said.
Once an endangered species, American crocodiles' numbers have rebounded to nearly 2,000 in coastal south Florida, their only habitat in the continental United States. That puts them in increasing contact with humans, especially in areas where backyards border on canals around Miami and the Florida Keys. Read More......Friday, February 27, 2009
Hard Boiled Eggs
Short cut to cook hard boiled eggs......a fantastic discovery.
Cooking hard boiled eggs can be a hassle because you have to kor hui (jaga api) or kor chui (jaga air). This method of cooking the eggs whereby you don't have to worry whether they are over-cooked or under-cooked.
1) Place two pieces of tissue paper inside the rice cooker and sprinkle them with water.
2) Put in the eggs.
3) Close the lid and press "Cook" button.
4) Wait till the button jumps up. When it does, TURN OFF THE ELECTRICITY POWER. Do not leave them too long inside the rice cooker after cooked ...only do so if you prefer a harder egg yolk.
5) The eggs are ready.
The speed is faster than using ordinary boiling method. This is because the water sprinkled on the tissue will turn into steam and compressed inside the rice cooker to cook the eggs. You can peel the egg shells off very easily. The egg yolks will turn out just nice, not too dry. And the best part is -you don't have to do any washing nor cleaning at all.

Low-Tech Fixes for High-Tech Problems
BEHIND the cash register at Smoke Shop No. 2 in downtown San Francisco, Sam Azar swipes a customer’s credit card to ring up Turkish cigarettes. The store’s card reader fails to scan the card’s magnetic strip. Azar swipes again, and again. No luck.
As customers begin to queue, he reaches beneath the counter for a black plastic bag. He wraps one layer of the plastic around the card and swipes it again. Success. The sale is rung up.
“I don’t know how it works, it just does,” says Mr. Azar, who learned the trick years ago from another clerk. Verifone, the company that makes the store’s card reader, would not confirm or deny that the plastic bag trick works. But it’s one of many low-tech fixes for high-tech failures that people without engineering degrees have discovered, often out of desperation, and shared.
Today’s shaky economy is likely to produce many more such tricks. “In postwar Japan, the economy wasn’t doing so great, so you couldn’t get everyday-use items like household cleaners,” says Lisa Katayama, author of “Urawaza,” a book named after the Japanese term for clever lifestyle tips and tricks. “So people looked for ways to do with what they had.”
Popular urawaza include picking up broken glass from the kitchen floor with a slice of bread, or placing houseplants on a water-soaked diaper to keep them watered during a vacation trip.
Today, Americans are finding their own tips and tricks for fixing misbehaving gadgets with supplies as simple as paper and adhesive tape. Some, like Mr. Azar’s plastic bag, are open to argument as to how they work, or whether they really work at all. But many tech home remedies can be explained by a little science.
Cellphone Losing Charge
If your cellphone loses its battery charge too quickly while idle in your pocket, part of the problem may be that your pocket is too warm.
“Cellphone batteries do indeed last a bit longer if kept cool,” says Isidor Buchanan, editor of the Battery University Web site. The 98.6-degree body heat of a human, transmitted through a cloth pocket to a cellphone inside, is enough to speed up chemical processes inside the phone’s battery. That makes it run down faster. To keep the phone cooler, carry it in your purse or on your belt.
This same method can be used to preserve your battery should you find yourself away from home without your charger. Turn off the phone and put it in the hotel refrigerator overnight to slow the battery’s natural tendency to lose its charge.
Remote Car Key
Suppose your remote car door opener does not have the range to reach your car across the parking lot. Hold the metal key part of your key fob against your chin, then push the unlock button. The trick turns your head into an antenna, says Tim Pozar, a Silicon Valley radio engineer.
Mr. Pozar explains, “You are capacitively coupling the fob to your head. With all the fluids in your head it ends up being a nice conductor. Not a great one, but it works.” Using your head can extend the key’s wireless range by a few car lengths.
Dry Ink Cartridge
If your printer’s ink cartridge runs dry near the end of an important print job, remove the cartridge and run a hair dryer on it for two to three minutes. Then place the cartridge back into the printer and try again while it is still warm.
“The heat from the hair dryer heats the thick ink, and helps it to flow through the tiny nozzles in the cartridge,” says Alex Cox, a software engineer in Seattle. “When the cartridge is almost dead, those nozzles are often nearly clogged with dried ink, so helping the ink to flow will let more ink out of the nozzles.” The hair dryer trick can squeeze a few more pages out of a cartridge after the printer declares it is empty.
Cellphone in the Toilet
It could happen to anyone: you dropped your cellphone in the toilet. Take the battery out immediately, to prevent electrical short circuits from frying your phone’s fragile internals. Then, wipe the phone gently with a towel, and shove it into a jar full of uncooked rice.It works for the same reason you may keep few grains of rice in your salt shaker to keep the salt dry. Rice has a high chemical affinity for water — that means the molecules in the rice have a nearly magnetic attraction for water molecules, which will be soaked up into the rice rather than beading up inside the phone.
It is a low-tech version of the “Do Not Eat” desiccant packets that may have been packed in the box the phone came in, to keep moisture away from the circuitry during shipping and storage.
Longer Wi-Fi Reach
If your home Wi-Fi router doesn’t reach the other end of the house, don’t rush out to buy more wireless gear to stretch your network. Instead, build a six-inch-high passive radio wave reflector from kitchen items, like an aluminum cookie sheet.
Follow the instructions at freeantennas.com/projects/template. Place the completed reflector — a small, curved piece of metal that reflects radio waves just like a satellite TV dish — behind your Wi-Fi router. It focuses the router’s energy in one direction — toward the other end of the house — rather than letting it dissipate its strength in a full circle. No cables, no batteries, no technical knowledge required. Yet it can easily double the range of your network.
Dirty Discs
You need to clean a skipping DVD or CD, but as a bachelor you don’t have any sissy cleaning fluids? Soak a washcloth with vodka or mouthwash.
Alcohol is a powerful solvent, perfectly capable of dissolving fingerprints and grime on the surface of a disc. A $5 bottle of Listerine in your medicine cabinet may do the job as effectively as a $75 bottle of DVD cleaning fluid. Also, swabbing your copy of “Lost Weekend” with Stoli instead of fussing with a Discwasher kit is a lot more manly.
Too Much Flash
If your cellphone’s built-in camera flash is much too bright, washing out photos, tape a small piece of paper over the flash. Experiment with different colors and thicknesses of paper to tone down the flash from superbright white to a more pleasing glow for evening photos.
Crashed Hard Drive
If — no, make that when — your PC’s hard drive crashes and can’t be read, don’t be too quick to throw it out. Stick it in the freezer overnight.
“The trick is a real and proven, albeit last resort, recovery technique for some kinds of otherwise-fatal hard-drive problems,” writes Fred Langa on his Windows Secrets Web site. Many hard drive failures are caused by worn parts that no longer align properly, making it impossible to read data from the drive. Lowering the drive’s temperature causes its metal and plastic internals to contract ever so slightly. Taking the drive out of the freezer, and returning it to room temperature can cause those parts to expand again.
That may help free up binding parts, Mr. Langa explains, or at least let a failing electrical component remain within specs long enough for you to recover your essential data.
That’s the spirit of folk remedies: They may or may not work, but what have you got to lose? Read More......Sunday, February 8, 2009

DO You Enjoy Your Camping Trip??
The success and enjoyment of a camping trip depends on the availability [among other things] of essential cooking utencils, safety gadgets, medicine, clean drinking water. Do not take unecessary items that are heavy or bulky especially if the camp site a far from the car park or you have to wade in a river or stream to get there. The following are some items which are necessary and useful.
Camping Tools
Man's best friend for camping is not Fido the dog - but the versatile gas canister powered portable stove. This small and unassuming gadget is the lifeline for your food. When we were scouts then we had to start a fire using just two sticks of matches. Failing which we have to eat Maggi mee soaked in cold water until it bloats up nice and soft. Yuggs!! Sudah lapar, makan saja lah. Funny thing though, even after eating uncooked food and drinking unboiled stream water, we seldom have stomach ache. But to be safe, bring along "po chai yuen" and stomach-upset medicine, panadol, plater and a tube of Burnol.
The machete, golok, axe, flip-open knife and the versatile Swiss Army knife are all neccesary items. Chopping of wood, splitting of bamboo, hammering of pegs, digging of trenches, etc., will not jadi without these gadgets. At night, the camper's best friend [not a China kuaci lady singing karaoke with you] are the torch lights and other illuminating gadgets. The rechargeable multi-lights are the best, followed by the normal torch light. A strong-beam cum long-distance torch light is certainly a plus item to have. And in case [forgot to recharge or buy new batteries], the ever cheap and useful was candle is the best.

If there is no mosquito, it is not camping. Fine! But with denge everywhere, it is better to take precautions. Have insect-repellent spray, wax candles, Ridsect and other irritant control items to make your camping more tolerable. To discourage the ular from getting too close to the sleeping quarters, spread sulphur powder along the perimeter and enclosing the area to be protected. Unfortunately, when it rains it is not effective. Sleeping on X-legs beds will reduce chance of creepies joining you between the sheets or sleeping bag.

Tips & Tricks : Speed Up Blog by Compressing CSS Code, Real Easy!
CSS Code of a blog hold design attributes (like font color, column size, background color etc) of various parts of blog. Compressing this code can result in faster blog and little saving in bandwidth.
With so make theme and template designers out there, everyone has own style of coding stuff. Some template may contain ‘bad hair day’ kind of CSS code with characters spread all over.
CSS compression does not delete any part of CSS code. It removes white spaces and better organizes each CSS element into one line. Before you perform CSS compression make sure you BACKUP CSS file (Wordpress) or Template (Blogger).
FOR WORDPRESS USERS
In Wordpress Dashboard, click on ‘Design’ tab > ‘theme editor’. Click on Stylesheet (Style.css) located at bottom right part of the screen. Copy - paste contents in a notepad file for back up purpose. Now open CSS Drive online compression tool.
Then paste your CSS code in the Web based window and click on ‘Compress-it’ button. Compression mode ‘normal’ should be fine. Then paste the compressed code in your Wordpress CSS file and your are all set. In case something goes bad, restore your original CSS file.
FOR BLOGGER USERS
First you need to backup your blogger template. In your blogger dashboard, click on ‘layout’ > ‘Edit HTML’ and then click on ‘download full template’ button and save template on your computer.
Next step involves copying ONLY css code from your template. Search for
Click on ‘compress it’ button and now paste the compressed code between
You could see difference of about 11% - 20% in the size of CSS code of your Blog. So, compress CSS to speed up your blog and CSS code look good to eyes with proper text formating with no characters spread all over!
